Big blocks, detached garages and long driveways. The cable run is the main cost driver up here, and three-phase supply is common in the larger homes, which makes a 22 kW charger a real option. Solar and home batteries are common, so we are usually setting up solar-surplus charging on the same visit.
Detached garages sometimes have their own sub-board. If yours does, a photo of it alongside the main board lets us quote the shortest, cheapest route.
Our from-prices do not change by suburb. What moves the price is your cable run and your switchboard, and both are read off your photos before you get a number. Add-ons such as load management, a weather cover or an enclosure appear as their own lines.

Usually not. Three photos — the switchboard, where the charger goes, and the path between them — are enough for a fixed quote. Strata buildings and three-phase upgrades are the exceptions, and we say so up front.
A straightforward single-phase install beside the board is about two and a half hours. Longer runs, three-phase or solar metering take a morning. You have a working charger before we leave.
